let's talk about me...

i was born at the 13th of april in 1981. i had a regular school career and graduated in 1999. ever since i know music was an important part of my life. that's a family thing i suppose. i startet playing the violin at the age of five and experienced quite a lot through my "career" as a violinist. everything i know, feel and do with and trough music has its roots in this my first instrument. later on i widened my spectrum with piano, guitar, electric bass and sousaphone.

i don't know when exactly i first thought of studying audio engineering, but after my civil service i took a year studying musical science and piano in order to pass the entrance exam at the university of music and performing arts vienna, and i did it! this was the starting point of my life as musician, producer and engineer.

as far as i remember i always had a strong interest in technics, especially in audio contexts. i destroyed lots of mechanical and electric devices and never lost the fascination of their nature. i always tried out all kinds of knobs, wheels, faders, setups, always curious, never satisfied and this childish approach is what i never want to lose.

my other half, the musician, was always as present, if not stronger as the technician. music is with me wherever i go, its in my heart an all around me. there is so much to learn, so much to do and so much to experience, i never want to stop :)
