barefoot basement are an instrumental band, working with different vocalists. depending on these their shows are never the same. when playing as a backing band for austrian artists jahpremacy and danny ranks their style is strictly modern roots. together with the polish/austrian mc margoloh their style changes to a unique mixture of ska, roots reggae and hip hop. and on those occations were no vocalists enter the stage, barefoot basement let their passion for dub run wild..

the 12 member coverband is known for its spontaneity, by witch they let every concert become a hot party. besides funk and soul classics, they manage even with current hits to let the crowd go wild. the band was founded in 2006 and meets sincs then again and again for current occasions. groovy rhythm section, crisp horns and the lady with her massive vocal organ :) the heat is build up among others with songy by james brown, stevie wonder, otis redding & tower of power. that means: dancing until the doctor comes!
